Input: JPEG, PNG, WebP, AVIF, GIF, and BMP. Output: PNG, JPEG, and WebP. Animated GIFs keep the first frame only. Digiwava product images accept PNG and JPEG.
PNG for screenshots, graphics, text, and logos where sharp edges matter. JPEG for photographs where smaller file size outweighs minor compression artifacts. For Digiwava product previews (often screenshots or graphics), upload PNG. Our servers optimize delivery automatically.
PNG export preserves every pixel. JPEG and WebP use compression, but at high quality settings the difference is imperceptible. For Digiwava product images, upload the highest quality PNG you have. When displayed on the site, images are compressed at quality 80 for faster loading, with no visible difference at normal viewing sizes.
Images are limited to 10 MB per file. Images larger than 7000 by 7000 pixels are rejected for browser safety, and high-resolution images are downscaled before editing. The recommended product image is 1920×1080 at 16:9, with a minimum of 400×225.
Yes. No watermarks, no signup, and no limit on how many images you can edit. Images must stay within the safe pixel limits.
All metadata is removed on export. This includes GPS location, camera model, lens settings, timestamps, and software information. If you took a photo at home, the exported image will not reveal your location. Digiwava also strips metadata from images uploaded to the Product Editor.
Privacy. Your images never leave your device. The tool uses your browser's built-in image processing, so there is nothing to install and no account required. When you close the tab, your images are gone from memory.
